Update From Gorseland Primary School

Our staff have been busy supporting the children of key workers and will continue to do so. The children in school have enjoyed many exciting activities and opportunities. Forest School activities have enabled the children to work outside and get messy. The children have also been baking, perfecting their craft skills and are enjoying being creative.

For those children and families accessing school from home, we have created The GorseHub: www.sites.google.com/gorseland.net/Learning-Zone/gorsehub. The activities are updated weekly and we are enjoying seeing the work you have been sending us via email: [email protected].

We are now providing year group specific learning activities for our children with video introductions from our staff. We have also created the Book Corner.

Here we have videos of the Gorseland teachers reading their favourite books for the children: www.sites.google.com/gorseland.net/book-corner.

Our younger children in Hedgehog Nursery and Reception have been sharing lots of messages and photos on Tapestry about the fun they have had learning with their families.

We certainly look forward to a big celebration of all the different home learning experiences when we return to school.
