Suffolk Bereavement Support – letting you know we are still here to help.
Like many organisations our activities have been curtailed now that life is dominated by Coronavirus. We are only too aware of the impact that isolation plays when bereaved and this is only exacerbated if support systems are not able to operate. This is why we are continuing to offer our support but in a different way.
We are currently keeping in touch with all our group members, inviting them access support via email or telephone. In this way members are able to share how they are feeling and to pass on ways of coping that they are finding beneficial.
We are also happy to offer such support to other Suffolk residents who might wish to join one of groups once this crisis is over. Our website is also a source of lots of useful information for anyone who has lost a loved one and amongst other things explains the importance of expressing feelings appropriately so that they are not suppressed in such a way that they lead to more deep seated physical and emotional difficulties. We are happy to hear from anyone who wants to know more about our support.
If this blog is meaningful for you in connection with a bereavement, be it recent or further back in time, then why not find out more Suffolk Bereavement Support?
