Phone Box Site to Become A Colourful Community Space
Bramford Parish Council is working hard to make improvements for the residents of the village. We have obtained permission and funding to provide a seating area with flower planters on the corner of The Street and Gippingstone Road for people to sit and watch the world pass by or to wait for your takeaway!
We have also purchased the King George Phone Box, which we believe was installed in the 1940s, and plan to refurbish it with the help of local tradesmen and volunteers. It is important to preserve this iconic piece of our history, which is currently looking rather sad, and we are looking for any stories or photos of it throughout its years if anyone has any. It will remain a community book share once completed, where people can borrow and donate books.
If you wish to get in touch please do so via our website www.bramford.suffolk.cloud, or Facebook page, or just pop a letter in the Parish Room letterbox. We would love to hear from you.
