Manningtree & District Photographic Society

We have a May update from the lovely folks at the Manningtree & District Photographic Society:

In March, we enjoyed an interesting evening learning about the wildlife of the Tendring Peninsula with Liz Huxley. From Cattawade to Clacton, Liz introduced us to the vast array of flora and fauna that can be found on our doorstep, providing ample opportunities for expanding our wildlife photography.

We are a small and friendly group of photography enthusiasts who (in normal times) meet up on the Essex/Suffolk border. The club aims to provide a pleasant environment for members to enjoy the development of their photographic skills through a variety of activities in the company of like- minded individuals. We would be pleased to welcome you at one of our evenings once it is safe to resume or to join a virtual meeting before then.

Our Zoom meetings continue to attract a good number of members with competitions being well supported. This month’s featured image and the winner of the Woodland competition is Woodland Tryptich by Tim Stott. We also set a Facebook challenge to keep us motivated with a new subject every two weeks.
