Despite the virtual world we live in at the moment, we have been pleased to welcome new members to our recent Zoom meetings and hope that, with the prospect of restrictions being lifted during the summer, we will be able to get to know them face-to-face before too long.
We are a small and friendly group of photography enthusiasts who (in normal times) meet up on the Essex/Suffolk border. The club aims to provide a pleasant environment for members to enjoy the development of their photographic skills through a variety of activities in the company of like-minded individuals. We would be pleased to welcome you at one of our evenings once it is safe to resume or to join a virtual meeting before then.
Our Zoom meetings continue to attract a good number of members with competitions being well supported; the winning image from the Contre- Jour competition, Gothic Aurora by Ian Bancroft, is featured. We also have the Facebook challenge to keep us motivated with a new subject every two weeks.
Thursday 8 April: Country and Village life Competition
Thursday 22 April: Club Workshop
All meetings will be held via Zoom until further notice. In normal times, we meet at 7.30pm on the second, fourth and fifth Thursdays at the St Johns Ambulance Centre, Station Road, Manningtree CO11 1EB.
