Kesgrave Town Council

The birds are singing and the spring flowers are starting to bloom, so let’s hope we can put last year behind us and safely come out of lockdown.

The town council is working with other organisations to put on small weekly or monthly events within the town. Please keep an eye out for all the latest information here in In Touch and on our website and noticeboards throughout the town.

Our first big event is Kesgrave Fun Day at the Millennium Jubilee Field. This year we want to make it a real celebration and we hope to have lots of attractions and activities for you to enjoy free of charge. The Fun Day will take place on Saturday 31 July from 11am to 4pm.

If you would like a stall or wish to volunteer to help on the day, then please contact the town council office. The Kesgrave 5K Fun Run in aid of the Kate Moyes Memorial Fund and St Elizabeth Hospice is on Sunday 8 August. The fancy dress theme this year is Superheros to show our appreciation of all NHS staff and critical workers.

Please contact Debbie on 07557 809709 or via www.kesgrave5k.com for further information.

The Senior Citizens Outing will take place on Friday 1 October but we hope to arrange something in the summer months as well, so watch this space.

Unfortunately, there have been recent reports on social media about people looking around properties and their cars. Remember to lock your car and house doors when you are not around. If you notice any suspicious activity, please report to the Police on 101. If the matter is urgent, call 999.

Town council meetings are still operating remotely. Please email [email protected] if you would like to attend any future meetings.
