The local branch of the Multiple Sclerosis Society held a craft fair at Lawford Venture Centre on Saturday 21st October from 10.30am-4pm, to raise funds to support local people who are affected by MS, a neurological condition that affects around 100,000 people in the UK.
Thirty local crafters were selling a wide range of unusual crafts including candles, pyrography, shabby-chic home wares, jewellery, cards and even decorated gourds. On offer to sample was locally-made apple juice. Everyone enjoyed a cup of tea and a bacon roll or a home-made cake and get inspiration for that perfect Christmas gift, while the children had their faces painted and enjoyed the trick or treat stall. Free entry, free car park, fully accessible.
