Hadleigh Library Update

Hello again from the land of digital…

Yes, we are still having to wave at you from the virtual world, but rest assured we always still have our customers in mind. But like so many, we are having to find new ways of doing our jobs living in this non-physical world – for now, anyway.

Although there is absolutely no substitute for being able to see you all in person and to share in the fun of the groups and activities that were regularly held in our library, or to nip to the shelves to find that exact book you were looking for, we are at least able to still provide a comprehensive library service. Not only does Suffolk Libraries have a great range of digital offers – e-books, audio books, films, magazines and music – to borrow but they have been curating a whole host of other content to take part in or view. Just have a look on the website to see what’s there. You could subscribe to the Suffolk Libraries YouTube channel to see all the new content too.

We at Hadleigh Library have been pulling on our learning hats and have been making content just for you. Our Baby Bounce and Tot Rock sessions may not be in the library building, but we have sing-a-long sessions and story time for you on our Facebook page. Sunday Family Craft is hugely missed, but again, on our Facebook page there are craft videos to watch and make along to. We have book reviews, quizzes, nature spotting and all sorts of events and activities and we hope you will stay in contact with us by joining in, posting pictures or just stopping by to leave a comment and say hello.

Take care of yourselves. We look forward to the day we open our doors to see you all, again.
