In these times of isolation, quizzes are a great way to keep the mind active. They exercise your brain cells and make you feel connected to others.
Whether you choose to play alone, with your household or against them, or remotely through technology against family and friends, quizzes are a great way to kill some time in lock down and keep you entertained for a while.
We thought we would help get you inspired by compiling a list of some virtual quizzes.
- The Virtual Pub Quiz – Every Thursday at 7.50pm, over on their YouTube they run a virtual pub quiz. They also do a few specialist quizzes throughout the week. You can also watch again later and keep updated on their Facebook.
- Inquizition – A virtual pub quiz from quiz masters Inquizition at 8pm every Sunday until June 14th. Check them out on Facebook and via their website.
- Big Drop’s Living Room Pub Quiz – Each Tuesday at 7pm on their YouTube channel with updates on their Facebook event page. If you can’t watch live, you can re-watch them. Visit their website for full details.
- Spectacular Quarantine Quizzes – Visit their website for an eclectic mix of specialist quizzes, from Harry Potter to Disney, or Mean Girls to Gavin and Stacey.
All of these quizzes are free but most are encouraging donations to the NHS or other worthy causes so check their sites for donation links.
Alternatively, you could create your own! Challenge some friends and family to a quiz you’ve created, or each create a set of questions for each other and get on the phone/Zoom/Skype/FaceTime and get quizzical. You are bound to have plenty of laughs along the way.
Stay tuned as our sister company GrapevineLIVE will be posting weekly quizzes soon, and keep tabs on all of our social channels for any fun quizzes and games we might surprise you with!
