Our services, regular groups and planned events have all been closed till further notice. In the interim we are carrying on online. We have various resources in the form of video talks, articles to read and services to watch on the homepage at www.mie.org.uk. There are also various social media groups, both formal and informal and many are using them to keep in touch, offer and receive help and generally encourage one another. One such online group is used by Little Lambs that normally meets every Friday morning at Tower hall. If you would like to join or reconnect with people you may know in this group, please email: [email protected]
If you need to talk to a minister or indeed talk to anyone with any issue or request for help, or just want someone to call you for a chat, please contact us via [email protected] If you are unable to use email you can phone us on 01473 421849 during the following times: Tuesday 9am-1pm; Wednesday & Friday 9am-3pm
We are also on:
While there are some who use the language of divine retribution to interpret current events and others prefer to see it all in terms of cold hard facts and figures, we keep our focus on the hope that the risen Jesus brings at Easter, and seek to emulate him in performing acts of kindness to all, wherever we are. Finally, let’s also be thankful that while this virus brings suffering and inconvenience to all humans, the shutdown is giving the rest of creation much needed relief.
