Basic Life Community Pop-up Shop
Each Wednesday in their parish hall in Whitton Church Lane, Whitton Parish Church hosts a Basic Life Community Pop-Up Shop. The purpose of this is to provide those in need with a bag of groceries. Each week we have a variety of goods available ranging from fresh fruit and vegetables to toiletries and tinned produce as well as tea, coffee, milk, cereal, pasta and rice, and even treats like biscuits and sweets.
The shop opens from 1-2pm and is open to all. The cost is £2 each week in return for a recyclable bag to fill with your selected goods. There are no criteria to fill, no questions to answer and everyone is welcome.
If you need food or know someone who does, please tell them about us.
If you wish to help in any way you can do this by donating either goods like those mentioned above or money will be used to purchase produce to supplement items that are in high demand like fruit, vegetables and toiletries.
If you wish further details, please contact Revd. Maureen Bonsall, 6 Epsom Drive, Ipswich / 077620 01086.
Anyone wishing to donate goods in the Claydon/Barham area can deliver to: Sally Groom, 13 Phillipps Road, Barham / 07802 121672.
