Babblings From The Brook

Drink, treats and a warm welcome await dogs and their owners at The Brook Inn as more and more visitors come to the pub with their four-legged friends. Manager Mark Cooper said,

The pub is especially popular with dog owners during the day, as people enjoy walking in the surrounding countryside.

To meet human demands at this coldest time of year, Mark and his team are serving up an £11 set menu at lunchtimes for two courses throughout January and February. There will also be a ‘Winter Warmer’ offer on Monday evenings throughout January, where a hearty stew or casserole can be enjoyed for £9.50.

Our popular, regular events are also taking place again in January. On Sunday 14th January, they staged their first quiz evening of the year and for performance-hungry customers, they ran their popular Open Mic night on Thursday 18th January.

If you want a taste of Caledonia, come to The Brook on Thursday 25th January to celebrate Burns Night, when there’ll be haggis and a warming whisky on offer as part of a traditional Burns supper menu.

And if you’re worried about the cold outside, you needn’t because their new doors and windows are keeping the pub toasty and warm inside.
