The junior teams have been very busy playing their matches in the Colchester League. Cosmic Rockets are sitting third in the league table and Saturn Rockets are just below in fourth. There are seven teams altogether, so both teams are doing extremely well considering it’s their first season. Ipswich Ravens Volleyball

The seasonal weather and illness caused last month’s indoor six-a-side competition at Northgate School to be scaled down, there was no Division 2 competition and just six teams entered Division 1 including Ravens men. They were able to continue their policy of providing opportunities to their junior boys to compete at adult level, with two under-15s in the team, and once again they were very pleased with the outcome. On Saturday 11th November, club competitors went to Liege in Belgium for an international competition. The standard was extremely high with more than 600 competitors for all over Europe, many of them internationals. The results were: Lauren Berry silver in individual kata and bronze in kumite, Georgina Lawson silver and bronze in kumite.
