Chernobyl Children’s Lifeline

Words by Link Chair Elizabeth Parker On Friday 29th December, we were up at 4.30am to get ready to take the children to the airport for their journey home. Unfortunately the flight was a really early one and we had to make allowances for the weather conditions and possible delays on the roads. While all of the children were obviously looking forward to seeing their families again there were a few tears at the airports as we said goodbye to one of the best groups of children we have had…

Good Neighbours

Are there people living in your community who would benefit from a Good Neighbour? A Good Neighbour Scheme is a group of people who help others in their community. This could be by giving a lift, checking a smoke alarm, changing a light bulb, fixing a tap, tidying a garden, or perhaps befriending someone who is lonely or new to the village. Chernobyl Children’s Lifeline

Words by Link Chair Elizabeth Parker On Sunday 3rd December, we collected our Christmas group from Gatwick airport. After the children return home at the end of the month I will be leaving for Belarus for our Father Frost…

The first fixture round threw up a local derby match when Nick and Graham as Bramford 1 played Matt and Adam (Graham’s sons) playing as Bramford 2. It proved to be another win…
