The seasonal weather and illness caused last month’s indoor six-a-side competition at Northgate School to be scaled down, there was no Division 2 competition and just six teams entered Division 1 including Ravens men. They were able to continue their policy of providing opportunities to their junior boys to compete at adult level, with two under-15s in the team, and once again they were very pleased with the outcome. Woodbridge Tennis Club has welcomed a new face to its growing coaching team, with Martyn Bullingham hitting the ground running by coaching a group of budding young tennis players. Rendlesham Out-of-School Club is celebrating an ‘outstanding’ grade in its most recent Ofsted inspection. The club joins its sister nurseries, Rendlesham Day Nursery and Bridge Farm Day Nursery in Martlesham in gaining the highest grade possible. Nominations are now open for Suffolk’s Youth Parliament and young people in Suffolk have until Sunday 7th January to submit their nominations. The UK Youth Parliament (UKYP) is the largest elected body of young people in the UK who influence policy.
