Nominations are now open for Suffolk’s Youth Parliament and young people in Suffolk have until Sunday 7th January to submit their nominations. The UK Youth Parliament (UKYP) is the largest elected body of young people in the UK who influence policy. One Ipswich charity will be distributing 150 luxury Christmas food hampers to local families in need this Christmas. The community group called Love Ipswich, established by Proclaimers Church Ipswich, have been receiving donations of items like boxes of mince pies, packets of stuffing and jars of cranberry sauce from members of the public and local businesses.
