The junior teams have been very busy playing their matches in the Colchester League. Cosmic Rockets are sitting third in the league table and Saturn Rockets are just below in fourth. There are seven teams altogether, so both teams are doing extremely well considering it’s their first season. Ansell Centre Defibrillator Appeal

As they had so desperately hoped, their defibrillator was installed on Christmas Eve at the Ansell Centre. A last-minute hitch was created by the very late delivery of the cabinet requiring a late visit from the electrical contractor before the defibrillator for Hadleigh installation was complete – ready for Christmas. December was very much an up and down month for the First Team. They started positively with victory over Westerfield, the third win on the bounce. A small mental health peer support group working with Suffolk Charity BSEVC, hosted their first art show, You Can Do It, at the Kingfisher Leisure Centre in Sudbury in November. The event was kindly sponsored by the PJK Charitable Trust. There were over 30 exhibits ranging from photographs and craft work to puppets and drawings.
